Daniel Axelrod, at twenty-one, is already an experienced actor and author of three books of poems, has designed a performance and master class that will inspire your students to a greater understanding of the art of poetry and creative writing. As early as age nine, he was already teaching workshops in creative writing at libraries and schools. Now master of a commanding style, he will visit as poet-in-the-school to perform and teach workshops for audiences of all ages. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and History with honors from SUNY Cortland College and will receive his Masters degree from Syracuse University's prestigious Newhouse Journalism School in 2003.
